Novell GroupWise WebAccess Vulnerabilities
In recent months, a growing number of Ft. Lauderdale computer repair experts and programmers have discovered vulnerabilities with Novell GroupWise.
Specifically, issues involving multiple cross site scripting.
Programmers we have talked to identify Novell GroupWise vulnerabilities that they believe could exploited by attackers.
Hackers could take advantage of these security gaps to execute arbitrary scripting code and wreak havoc with data.
Documented problems have been traced to the input validation errors in the "servlet/webacc" script when processing the "Error," "User.html," "User.lang" and "User.Theme.index" parameters and possible others.
All of these problems have the potential to be exploited by attackers, resulting in arbitrary scripting code being executed by users' browsers.
This is, of course, far from ideal. When dealing with the security context of adversely affected websites, it can result in a whole host of obstacles.
Both programmers and Fort Lauderdale computer repair technicians should be advised and be sure to keep these vulnerabilities in mind.
