According to recent reports, the creators of Mobile-Facts.com managed to compile a functioning model of Android specifically to run on a Netbook.

Boca Raton computer repair experts aren't too surprised, as Android is Linux and Linux is capable of running ... on virtually everything.

What is noteworthy about this, however, is that they discovered Android was actually designed for both phones and for mobile Internet devices (such as a Netbook).

With Google Mail, Google Docs, Google Calendar and much more, the company needed only a platform to run as a full-fledged system. Enter Android.

Experts believe Android may help Google find some success with the mobile phone platform, and already finds its way pre-installed on some netbooks.

Some say it won't be long until it also finds its way onto the PC desktop, giving birth to Google Linux - the epitome of mobility and connectivity.
